Lynns Bridal Creations

Hi everyone, been a long time since ive blogged on here, so thought i would start up again and maybe show the creations that i have started to make with my jewellery.

I last blogged on here in May 2014 when i was still making cards, i then bought myself a jewellery making kit and found myself a lovely teacher (Marie Frascina) for the basics. After a few lessons, i took up jewellery making full time and i took over my love of card making.

When i had made a few pieces i decided to open a shop LynnsGemCreations and chose Etsy.

After selling on here for a year an really enjoying experimenting with new techniques and gemstones, i decided to try my hand at bridal jewellery using beads and crystals etc.

I opened another shop called Lynns Bridal Creations and have been making bridal jewellery now for a  few months and starting to make a few sales which is great. So now i make bridal jewellery and gemstone jewellery and loving every minute of it.

Anyway thats enough about my new start, ill hopefully be posting on here my new creations as i make them.

Scribble and Scrap Challenge 17

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and crafting lots, i have been spending time promoting my Etsy shop and it appears to be paying off, four sales in one week whoo hoo!!

So busy making lots more to keep the stocks up, going to be doing my first craft fair soon too, really nervous but it will be lots of fun im sure.

So onto the challenge, its another fab Scribble and Scrap Challenge starting today where 'anything goes', so whatever your imagination lets you create.

On to my Sample card and today i have used 

the very sweet Archie the Bear and also Soft Lemon and White Set1 backing papers.

I have coloured him in using Copic Markers and added some Aged Roses embossing enamel around the edges. I have used the Soft Lemon and White backing paper with white corners from my stash. The bow is Tattered Lace and the ribbon, sentiment and little feet are all from my stash.

Scribble and Scrap Challenge 15

'Anything Goes'

Hi Everyone, hoping you are having a good Sunday so far, well i had a lovely day at the NEC craft fair and treated myself to a melt pot. Still cant believe how much you can do with one of these, treated myself to some moulds too. So been making a few flowers and also some rings.

Anyway back to reason i'm blogging, its the start of another Scribble and Scrap challenge today, Challenge 15 'anything goes'. The DT have made some lovely samples and the challenge can be found here:-

I have distressed the edges on the image for a vintage style, and layered the image onto 

Fabulously Feminine Set 1  and also Fabulously Feminine Set 2, distressed the edges on those too, the lace and doillie is from my stash, the ribbon and heart is also from my stash, the flowers were made in my Melt Pot and the sentiment is Kanban.

Hi Everyone, hope you are having a lovely weekend and enjoying any crafty time.

Its time for another fabulous challenge from Scribble and Scrap.

As usual, anything goes so you can really let your imagination run wild and create anything.

I have used the Vintage Girls Photo Topper Set 1, layered her onto a doily cut into four. The papers are from Vintage Paper Set 1 and have been distressed using Tim Holtz distress inks. The lace, butterflies and flowers are from my stash.

Jems Designs 'Love and Hearts' CD

Hi Everyone, hope you are all keeping well and doing some happy crafting.

Ive had a couple of days off work so have been making the most of my time in the sunshine with my dog and in the craft room having a play.

Vintage style card

Hi everyone, quick post from me today, popped up to Sunrise Crafts today to have a mooch around and the lovely lady there Bhanu, show me a little bit about distressing.

So i had a go at my first vintage card

Springtime by Saturated Canary was coloured in using copics, i used Tim Holts distress inks to distress the edges and also used vintage rose frantage for the corners, the backing papers are from my stash as are the pearls and the lace and doilies, also the flowers. The sentiment is Kanban which i have distressed.

Scribble and Scrap Challenge 12

Hi Everyone, hope you are all well , today sees the start of  a new fortnightly challenge from Scribble and Scrap, challenge 12, 'Anything Goes'.

For my DT card this challenge i am showcasing the lovely new backing papers

Black hearts on white - Monochrome Set 1 sku0096 

and Pink hearts on white - In The Pink Set 1 sku0091

I have coloured the image using Graph-its, 

the hearts  have been punched out using a heart punch 

I have layered the backing papers onto silver and red mirror card,

and the image has been cut out using a Spellbinders Grand Decorative Square.

Roxanne & Oinks

Hi Everyone, hope you're all have a lovely Sunday crafting or whatever you are doing.

I've been having a play with the lovely digi from Lacy Sunshine 'Roxanne & Oinks'

She is just so cute, loved every minute of colouring her.

I coloured her in using my Graph'its, had to wait a while for the brush nibs to become available but I managed to get some recently, so i was all set to go.

I have used the backing paper from  a lovely Hunkydory kit I had forgotten I had.

The Sentiment is from another kit and the peels off, pearls and butterflies are from my stash.

Bashful Button and Bows Boo

Hi Everyone just a little post from me today, been colouring in a lovely Lacy Sunshine image called Bashful Button and Bows Boo.

I think she is so cute and really enjoyed trying out different colours on her.

I have used a patchwork backing on silver mirror card, two doilies on either side of her. The image is cut out using a Grand Spellbinders die and layer onto the same only the larger one.

She is coloured in using a mixture of Copics and Graphit markers.

The flowers and ribbon and the butterflies and peeloffs are all from my stash.

Hi Everyone, hope you're having a great Sunday and doing lots of crafty things.

I cut out the cutting file on my Cameo using Silver Mirror Board and White Card, the square is also a cutting file from my Cameo library. The flowers in the corners are Spellbinders  and the other embellishments are from my stash., and finally the sentiment is Kanban.
